DayRise Television AD
By Michael O'Neal, LCDC-ADC III
I have been to 4 or 5 different outpatient programs which were all relatively similar to each other, but Dayrise is a lot different then any outpatient program that I have been to. I am one of those people that over analyzes everything and every time with my first counseling session I always observe my counselor to see if he or she actually cares and I have to say that right off the bat I sensed genuine and positive energy from Michael and I truly feel like Michael cares about my recovery and my well being. I have been there about a month and a half and I haven't had 1 bad experience with the program nor the staff. Justin handles all the financial/insurance stuff and he is such a nice guy and he will go out of his way to make sure that you get set up some type of payment plan or what ever works for you. With my program I have two 1 on 1 sessions with Michael and on Tuesdays and Fridays there are mandatory SOAR meetings from 7-8 pm. They have someone pick a topic about recovery and everyone shares with the group what the topic has to do with their recovery or how it has affected them in the past. The program also puts a lot of focus on different types of meditation which has had a tremendous effect on my recovery in a positive way. Like I said before, it's very hard for me to find a program that I like with a counselor whom I like as well and I must say that Dayrise has exceeded my expectations and I am extremely satisfied with the program.
I must say, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have struggled with addiction for about 15 years. I have been in and out of treatment programs and 12 step groups. I have had little success with traditional iop's or 12 step groups.
The moment I walked in the door at Dayrise Michael made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was actually quite excited about a different approach to treating my addiction. I didn't know exactly what to expect going in but I absolutely love it. It is such a positive atmosphere and I actually feel good sober! I graduated the program and continue to attend groups weekly. I feel hopeful about my future and my recovery for the first time in my life and I owe it all to Michael and the team at Dayrise. I thank God everyday that I found them!
I started treatment at Dayrise Recovery immediately after completing a 31 day inpatient rehab program. It has been the essential key in maintaining my sobriety and in rebuilding my life from the ground up after I lost everything due to my addiction to drugs and alcohol. Dayrise has supported me through every step of my journey in recovery by offering a holistic approach that is extremely effective. It has a knowledgeable and dedicated staff that provides an exceptional quality of care. In addition to one-on-one therapy including psychiatric and medical care, they offer peer support groups, dietary supplements, meditative sessions, and cranial electrotherapy stimulation devices which are used for the symptomatic treatment of anxiety, depression, and insomnia. They are very accommodating to my hectic schedule and the group therapy sessions are offered multiple nights during the week. I really enjoy meeting with other people in addiction recovery to discuss a wide range of topics such as interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, daily coping strategies, family and work-related issues, etc. The Dayrise team and the clients that attend the treatment center have become a crucial support network that allows me to maintain myself in a state of recovery. Not only did they save my life, but they gave me the tools to lead a more meaningful, enjoyable, and successful life. I will always be grateful to Dayrise Recovery for helping me find myself again. I strongly recommend Dayrise to anyone struggling with addiction.
As a treatment facility, this place has a wonderful holistic approach. All the counselors and other staff are amazing and very knowledgeable about addiction. DayRise is not a 12 step program, but it does not discriminate against AA or NA. It's just different entity. They really get down to the neuroscience of addiction and how you can use that knowledge to better your recovery a ten fold.
I am completely convinced that coming to Dayrise not only saved my life but it educated me to the fact that a holistic approach was and is the best path for myself and others. I will say that the staff has an hands on approach with all clients. My experience was as follows: I was a person with 14 years clean. I was trying what had worked in the past.....right because I had gotten clean before however I was older and didn't understand the physiology of what was happening to me and the disease of addiction. This is where Dayrise came in. Micheal didn't give up on me. He sat with me and walked through the steps of what was happening at the same time treating me with the wonderful supplements. I enjoy the Peer to Peer Support Groups because it is a safe place to talk about what needs to be talked!about family issues, character, self esteem, all sorts of daily living topics. My mate enjoyed the family support groups which was very important considering they knew nothing about addiction and recovery. This has stuck with me. The beauty of it all is that I really feel like family and will continue to go because it is a safe ,loving and growing place for a recovery person like myself to be.
Thanks Dayrise forever
The industry leading staff of counselors and doctors at our private outpatient addiction recovery center provide medical and holistic substance abuse treatment that addresses the root cause of addiction to alcohol and/or drugs. DayRise Recovery Center's Partial Hospital and Intensive Day Treatment options make our treatment center a preferred choice for those who need intensive help, but cannot take time out of their lives for an inpatient rehab experience. Those needing a lesser level of care can be admitted to our evening outpatient program. The right level of rehab for you will be determined by a careful assessment and will follow guidelines originally developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine for proper client and level of care matching. Since 2005 we at DayRise Recovery Center have been helping people restore their lives, recover their hope and regain their sense of self worth and self esteem.
People with addiction often also suffer from other issues like anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or other problems. Leaving these things untreated means you only win half the battle. So, we also treat Co-occurring Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD and more for complete recovery.
